How Did We Start?
Bryson Miller grew up around the construction industry, working summers for his father’s company. He went off to college in search of his future and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. He knew that he loved to work outdoors and after college, he went to work for his dad’s business, working out in the field. As time marched on, Miller, already blessed with a step daughter Alexis, had Josiah the first of his two sons. Luke would come only a year later. Miller named his company, J & L Constructors, Inc., after his sons Josiah and Luke, with the hope that one-day he will pass along a thriving business to the two brothers.
What Does The Future Look Like?
Now, with five full-time employees, Miller is taking on larger projects in both the public works and private sectors. His father, William Miller, works part time for the company. “My dad helps out when he can and it is great to have a person with so much experience and knowledge around,” says Miller. With the Purchase of a new 289 CAT Allterain J&L is "paving" the way to a brighter future. Literally! Full Replacements, grind and overlays are no longer a sub contractor issue. We handle it all completely in house now.
